Character creation in Animon Story involves building both a Kid (human player character) and an Animon (their creature companion).
Starting Your Character
Each new character begins with:
- Base Attributes: Brains, Heart, and Guts (rated 1-3)
- Health Points (HP): Calculated from your creature's stats
- Starting Equipment: Basic gear appropriate to your background
- Special Abilities: One starting ability based on your type
The Bond
The relationship between a Kid and their Animon is central to gameplay. A strong bond grants bonuses to combat rolls and unlocks evolution potential. Your bond level affects your Animon's growth and power.
